Going abroad to study

For an undergraduate, master’s or doctoral application, start with the receiving institution’s document list. Confirm the language, certification, submission format and deadline before ordering.

  • Secondary-school and school-leaving certificates.
  • Diplomas, degree certificates and diploma supplements.
  • Academic transcripts and course descriptions.
  • Enrolment confirmations, recommendation letters and application documents.

Send the university’s instructions with your documents so the quote covers what you actually need.

Coming to study in Croatia

International students may apply for a full degree, an exchange or a shorter study visit. Requirements vary by institution, programme and study level. A programme taught in English does not by itself determine the language or form of your supporting documents.

We translate foreign school certificates, diplomas, transcripts and other requested documents into Croatian or another agreed language. Where recognition of previous education is required, follow the responsible institution’s checklist. Translation and recognition are separate steps.

Consult the official Study in Croatia application guide and recognition guidance.

Erasmus+, CEEPUS and other exchanges

For Erasmus+ studies, the Learning Agreement sets out planned studies and recognition arrangements; the Transcript of Records records results after the exchange. Ask your international office which documents already exist in an accepted language and which need translation.

For Erasmus+ traineeships, CEEPUS, bilateral exchanges and visiting-student programmes, send the relevant programme instructions. We translate requested transcripts, course descriptions, enrolment confirmations and supporting material. Certification is checked for each document.

Confirm programme requirements with your university and the official Erasmus+ guidance.

Do student documents need certified translation?

The receiving institution decides what it accepts: a court interpreter’s certified translation, an existing English version or an uncertified translation. Check requirements for originals, copies and any apostille separately. Translation does not replace admission, qualification recognition or a language-proficiency certificate.

What to send for a quote

  1. Clear scans of all requested pages, including stamps, reverse sides and attachments.
  2. The source and target languages, destination country and institution.
  3. Your programme: full degree, Erasmus+ study or traineeship, another exchange or study visit.
  4. The recipient’s instructions, certification requirements and exact deadline.

We confirm scope, price, feasible completion date and delivery format after reviewing the material. Tell us if a physical certified copy must arrive by a particular date.

Academic translation and proofreading

If you also need a thesis, research paper or application text translated or proofread, identify it separately from your official documents. We agree the level of language work while preserving the author’s meaning.
