Court interpreter for the Uzbek language – Latin, Cyrillic and documents from Uzbekistan

What you need to know
• Uzbek document can be in Latin or Cyrillic
• Russian parallel text is common in older and part of official documentation
• electronic tags, serial numbers and issuer information are checked together with the text

We make translations from Uzbek to Croatian for certificates, personal documents, work, education and business documents. A court interpreter for the Uzbek language is contracted after checking the script, variant, source and target languages and request of the recipient. After reviewing the complete document, we send you a quote covering the scope, total price, deadline and delivery arrangements.

Electronic documents from Uzbekistan may contain a request number, a QR code, a verification link and automatically generated parts. We review all these elements before making an offer. If there is a Russian version of the document, we check whether it can be directly used for a certified translation in Croatia or whether the institution requests a translation of the Uzbek original. You will find related translations and language pairs in the overview Asian languages.

Uzbek documents for personal, educational and business procedures

Employers, agencies and workers most often need a translation of a certificate of non-criminal record, birth certificate, diploma, driver’s license and other evidence for proceedings before the Ministry of Interior or the employer. For each document, the original language and the certification procedure are determined first, because the possibility of hiring an appointed permanent court interpreter for the Uzbek language in Croatia may be limited.

Uzbek documents that we most often translate

  • Electronic criminal record certificates and other official certificates
  • Birth, marriage and other registry documents
  • Diplomas, school certificates and qualification certificates
  • Driving licenses and vehicle documentation
  • Employment contracts, employer’s certificates and residence documentation
  • Powers of attorney, declarations and administrative decisions

This list covers commonly requested documents, but is not exhaustive. You can also send another type of document for Uzbek language translation, we pay particular attention to whether the text is in Uzbek Latin, Cyrillic or Russian, and whether the document was issued electronically.

Uzbek Latin, Cyrillic and a parallel Russian text

Modern Uzbek is mostly written in Latin, but older or certain documents may be in Cyrillic. In addition, many documents contain Russian text. The language of each page must be identified separately before assigning a translator.

If the user can download the official Russian version of the electronic document, this sometimes facilitates a direct certified translation. However, such a solution should be confirmed with the institution receiving the document; we do not assume that every language version is equally acceptable.

Certification of an Uzbek document for official use

A certified translation for official use is prepared by an appointed permanent court interpreter for Uzbek, subject to availability and the receiving authority’s requirements. Before accepting the assignment, we check the language of the document, the possibility of issuing another official language version and whether the competent authority accepts the translation through an intermediate language. If direct certification is unavailable, we ask the relevant authority to confirm whether an alternative is acceptable. Before you order, we also check the number of copies, whether the translation must be attached to the original or a copy, and any Apostille requirements.

Interpreting between Croatian and Uzbek according to agreement

We arrange interpreting between Uzbek and Croatian for conversations with the employer, the police or other bodies, court and administrative proceedings, meetings and other official appointments agreed in advance. If the organiser or relevant authority requires an appointed permanent court interpreter, please tell us when you enquire. We confirm the booking once we have checked the location, date, duration, subject and any documents needed for preparation.

Apostille and authentication of an Uzbek document

Legalisation and certified translation serve different purposes. Whether you need an Apostille depends on where the document was issued, where you will use it and the receiving authority’s requirements. For a checklist of what to confirm, see our Apostille guide.

Language, data and certification control before the Uzbek translation

Your quote clearly sets out the scope, source and target languages, certification, total price, deadline and delivery arrangements. For these documents, we pay particular attention to whether the text is in Uzbek Latin, Cyrillic or Russian, and whether the document was issued electronically.

How to prepare an Uzbek document for translation evaluation

  1. Send all pages in their original order, including both sides and any attachments relevant to the Uzbek translation.
  2. Tell us the source and target languages, country of issue, intended use, deadline and any certification requirements. For interpreting, include the location, date and expected duration. We pay particular attention to whether the text is in Uzbek Latin, Cyrillic or Russian, and whether the document was issued electronically.
  3. For the Uzbek translation, we conclude the offer only after checking all pages, the availability of experts and the request for a certified translation.
  4. Once you confirm the order, we translate your document and check personal details, references and terminology. We then deliver the completed translation as agreed.

Price and deadline for translation of an Uzbek document

For Uzbek, document translation and interpreting are priced differently. Translation costs depend on the length and complexity of the document, legibility, stamps, certification and deadline. Interpreting costs depend on the duration, location, preparation and any travel required. The final amount is affected by the script, multilingual parts, electronic confirmations and the method of authentication. Your quote sets out the total price, the deadline, the availability of certification and the delivery arrangements.
