Certificate translation for official and business use
A certificate may confirm professional competence, completion of training, language proficiency or a characteristic of a system or product. Accurate translation starts by identifying what the document certifies and who issued it.

When is it used in Croatia?
Foreign certificates may be translated for employers, professional bodies, educational institutions and business procedures in Croatia. Acceptance can depend on validity, the scope of certification and the issuerโs status.
When is it used abroad?
Croatian certificates may be translated for job applications, evidence of competence or business cooperation abroad. The recipient may request details of the programme, duration or qualification level.
When might you need this document translated?
- A professional training certificate submitted with a job application.
- A language certificate for an educational institution.
- A management system certificate in business documentation.
- Evidence of training completed for a particular job.
When do you need a certified translation?
Court interpreter certification confirms the translation, not accreditation of the issuer or recognition of a professional qualification. Some procedures accept a non-certified translation; check the recipientโs requirements.
What should you send us?
Send both sides of the certificate, any required programme description and all annexes. Explain whether it concerns a personal qualification, a product or a management system.
Inovatus works with court interpreters to provide certified translations. Before we start, we agree the languages, scope, deadline and delivery or collection arrangements. To request a quote, tell us where you will submit the document and share any instructions you have received.
Which languages do we work with?
Choose a language to find out about translation and certification. We will agree how to deliver your certified translation once we have reviewed the document and its intended use.
