Manufacturer statement translation for official and business use
A manufacturer’s statement may confirm a product’s origin, composition, characteristics, intended use or other information. Its content depends on the type of statement. A general manufacturer statement is not necessarily an EU declaration of conformity or an independent certificate.

When is it used in Croatia?
Translation may be needed by Croatian customers, importers and distributors, or for documents accompanying a product. The product name and all identifying references must remain consistent with other supporting documents.
When is it used abroad?
A Croatian manufacturer may need a translated statement for an overseas business partner, tender or document check. Language and certification requirements follow the recipient’s instructions.
When might you need this document translated?
- A statement about product composition or origin.
- A statement about compatibility, intended purpose or use.
- A statement attached to technical or tender documentation.
When do you need a certified translation?
A court interpreter certifies the translation when required. Certification does not verify the truth of the manufacturer’s claims or the product’s conformity. If a declaration of conformity is requested, provide that specific document.
What should you send us?
Attach the signed statement, manufacturer details, model identifiers and every annex referred to in the text.
Inovatus works with court interpreters to provide certified translations. Before we start, we agree the languages, scope, deadline and delivery or collection arrangements. To request a quote, tell us where you will submit the document and share any instructions you have received.
Which languages do we work with?
