Product performance document translation for official and business use
A product performance document describes established or declared characteristics. Depending on the product, this may be a declaration of performance, a test report or a certificate containing technical data. These names are not interchangeable.
When is it used in Croatia?
Translations support procurement, sales, installation and product checks in Croatia. The exact value, performance class or testing method may matter to the designer, customer or supervisory authority.
When is it used abroad?
Croatian manufacturers and exporters translate performance documents for overseas customers, distributors and projects. For construction products, check the applicable regulatory framework and documents required for the particular product.
When might you need this document translated?
- A declaration of performance for a construction product.
- A laboratory test certificate or report.
- Documents demonstrating a required characteristic in procurement.
When do you need a certified translation?
A court interpreter certifies the translation’s fidelity, not the technical compliance of the product. Certification follows the recipient’s requirements. Translating a test report does not turn it into a certificate or manufacturer’s declaration.
What should you send us?
Send the complete document, including tables, standard references, measurement units and annexes. Specify the product type and purpose of the submission.
