Tax payment certificate translation for official and business use
A tax certificate contains information confirmed by a tax authority about an individual or company. A certificate of settled liabilities, a certificate of tax debt and a tax residence certificate are different documents, so the exact title and scope matter.

When is it used in Croatia?
A Croatian contracting organisation, bank, business partner or competent authority may need a translated foreign certificate as evidence of tax status or eligibility.
When is it used abroad?
Croatian tax certificates may be translated for business, tenders and other procedures abroad. The recipient determines the acceptable issue date and type of certificate.
When might you need this document translated?
- Evidence of settled tax obligations in a tender.
- Checks concerning a business partner or supplier.
- Submission of tax information to an overseas institution.
When do you need a certified translation?
Request court interpreter certification when the recipient requires an officially certified translation. We translate the certificateโs content without drawing conclusions about tax obligations it does not mention. Translation is not a tax opinion.
What should you send us?
Send every page of the certificate, including notes and issue date. Explain whether the recipient requested a specific type of tax document.
Inovatus works with court interpreters to provide certified translations. Before we start, we agree the languages, scope, deadline and delivery or collection arrangements. To request a quote, tell us where you will submit the document and share any instructions you have received.
Which languages do we work with?
Choose a language to find out about translation and certification. We will agree how to deliver your certified translation once we have reviewed the document and its intended use.
