Products and technical documentation
Technical data sheet translation for official and business use
A technical data sheet summarises a product’s characteristics, purpose, operating conditions and application. It may include dimensions, tolerances, composition or operating parameters. It is different from a safety data sheet, which has a separate purpose and structure.

When is it used in Croatia?
A foreign technical data sheet may be translated for users, designers, sales, procurement or technical documentation in Croatia. Clear terminology supports product selection and correct use.
When is it used abroad?
Croatian manufacturers translate data sheets for distributors, customers and projects in other markets. Measurement units, limitations and model identifiers must remain consistent.
When might you need this document translated?
- A material data sheet for design and installation.
- A component specification for an industrial customer.
- An attachment to a quote, catalogue or tender.
When do you need a certified translation?
Certification is not automatically required for every data sheet. A court interpreter certifies the translation if required by the recipient or procedure. We do not change values, units or declared properties without clear instructions and verification.
What should you send us?
Send the current data sheet, relevant drawings, a glossary and any documents with which the terminology needs to align.
Inovatus provides document translations, with court interpreter certification when required by the recipient or procedure. Before we start, we agree the languages, scope, deadline and delivery or collection arrangements. To request a quote, tell us where you will submit the document and share any instructions you have received.
Which languages do we work with?
Choose a language to find out about translation and certification. We will agree how to deliver your translation and whether certification is required once we have reviewed the document and its intended use.
